Rosehill - Completed 2000

The push to build Nanaimo's first Habitat home gained momentum in early 1998 with the purchase of property on Rosehill Street.

Construction of the Rosehill Duplex began in the fall of 1999. Both homes were dedicated on April 30, 2000. Our thanks go to our generous sponsors. The project was also supported by the Community Fisheries Development Centre.

Rosehill Renovation 2005

When the family who originally bought one of our Rosehill duplexes inherited a house, Habitat Nanaimo bought the duplex back from them, renovated it (including new floors and appliances), and found a new Partner Family to move into it.
