Second Street Build - Completed 2007Build Committee Chair, Max Stocker submitted our application for a Building Permit to the City of Nanaimo on February 8. Once again, he assembled a team of professionals and volunteers to complete the home in record time. Like last year's Montague Build, this year's Second Street Build is happened thanks to the City of Nanaimo which donated the lot. Retired architect Larrie Taylor has once again drawn up the plans for us and Brock Williamson & Associates did the surveying. Meanwhile, the Green Family, for whom this house was built, volunteered in the ReStore and at the build site to complete their 500 hours of Sweat Equity.
